Joslin Insight is a pioneering market research firm that has adapted and evolved over three decades to remain at the forefront of industry innovations. Originally founded in 1993 as Kaleidoscope, we have transitioned through significant technological changes—from using “snail mail” for consumer insights to developing cloud technology for real-time data analysis. Today, we are a trusted resource for companies seeking deep, actionable insights, especially in the ever-evolving healthcare sector.

Our journey began as Kaleidoscope 30 years ago with a focus on consumer behavior. In the early days, we employed methods such as traditional mail with pre-paid return envelopes to gather market insights. Later, a strategic move to Seattle during the tech boom catalyzed a transformation, culminating in a rebranding to Joslin Marketing in 1999. As the internet was rapidly expanding and Y2K concerns were widespread, we leveraged emerging technologies such as dial-up email and SMS for data collection.

Over the next decade, we made a significant pivot into the healthcare industry, where we quickly established ourselves as a key player in providing reliable market insights. Our expertise in understanding healthcare market trends became widely recognized, leading to our reputation as a trusted resource for healthcare market analysis and reporting.

The onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 marked another key turning point, prompting our latest transformation and rebranding to Joslin Insight. During this period, we launched a new cloud service designed to capture real-time workforce data, providing critical support to healthcare leaders. For our contributions to healthcare during the pandemic, we received Honorary Lifetime Member Awards from the American Organization for Nursing Leadership.
